Our Story

We humans are driven by stories. It is stories that connect us and stories that drift us apart.

Herne Katha is a series which tells the stories of extraordinary lives of ordinary people and communities of Nepal. We tell the stories of the common people.

Our labour of love has reached unimaginable heights. Herne Katha is now more than a series; it has become a collective movement.

With over 1 million followers and 95 million views in 5 years, Herne Katha has brought together people from all walks of life, within Nepal and globally.

Herne Katha takes a radical approach to story-telling.

We feature unheard, marginalized and silenced stories from Nepal. Each episode features a different part of Nepal where the local communities tell us their stories – in their own words and in their own style.
